INVITATION: Documentary viewing "Forest as fuel" 29th May
Beautiful, biodiversity rich wetland forests destroyed to fuel the European renewable energy market. Trucks full of trees heading to be shredded, pelletized and shipped to Europe.
Join us for a viewing of a documentary by ZEMBLA, an investigative current affairs program by the Dutch public broadcasting VARA, that heads to the Southeastern United States to uncover the story of wood pellets imported to the Dutch power plants as renewable energy.
