Trump in Brussels: The Lobby Tour
Trump in Brussels: The Lobby
Tour
Wednesday 24 May, 10am
Trump's cabinet is filled with corporate interests
and climate change deniers, from Rex Tillerson,
chief executive officer of Exxon Mobil, as secretary
of state, to former executives in the tobacco,
finance and military industries. He is advancing the
Keystone XL and Dakota Access oil pipelines;
plotting new TTIP-style free trade agreements and
undermining public science and the media freedom.
Many of the companies, think tanks and lobby groups
linked to his administration or set to benefit from
his agenda can be found here in Brussels.
As Trump is due to arrive in Brussels, join for a
lobby tour to find out about his corporate allies
that can be found in the Brussels EU quarter. Stops
will include companies linked to the North Dakota
pipeline and the US-Mexico wall, banks, oil
companies and lobby groups.
Come and find out how to get involved in the
movement against corporate power, and what we can do
to halt the spread of Trump-style politics and
far-right nationalism in Europe.
When: Wednesday 24 May, 10am
Where: EU quarter, Brussels.
